David A. Cintron, Jr., AIA, LEED A.P.
David A. Cintron, Jr., is the Co-Founder and Managing Director for LEDOLAS. He was born in New York City in 1965 and was raised on Long Island. He studied Electrical Engineering at SUNY Cortland and earned an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Sciences from SUNY College of Construction and Engineering in Farmingdale, New York. He went on to study Architecture at Arizona State University and Graduated with honors from the College of Architecture and Environmental Engineering. Mr. Cintron worked as a senior designer and architect of record for several well respected medium and large sized commercial architecture firms in Chicago, prior to founding his own practice DAC Studios, Ltd., there in 2003. Since its inception in 2006, David has been actively involved in the integration of the LEDOLAS Energy and Sustainability package into the firms high-performance building designs, and has integrated them into their master planned, sustainable community development and green infrastructure projects, both domestically and internationally. In 2012, Mr. Cintron co-founded WSI Management, LLC., a full service project management, real estate development and financial services organization that supports, and oversees the specific project needs, of the Whole Systems Integration Consortium. The consortium membership is comprised of a select group of nationally and internationally recognized corporate pioneers and leaders specializing in the development and implementation of high performance sustainable / restorative design, engineering and construction solutions. |
David A. Cintron Verrill
David Andrew Cintron Verrill is the Co-Founder and Director of International Sales and Marketing for LEDOLAS. He was born in Lima, Peru in 1933 and was raised in Portugal. He completed his High School studies in the US at George Washington High School, in New York City, New York. He earned his degree with a major in Economic Geology from the Colorado School of Mines and took post graduate courses from the Bernard Baruch School of Business Administration, in New York City, New York. He started his career as a World Metals Trader for Philipp Brothers in NYC, and focused the following 30 years of his professional working experience in positions related to foreign trade in Metals, Steel and Industrial Supplies to the Oil, Mining and Petrochemical Industry worldwide. He developed excellent relationships and the trust required to properly screen prospective mining investments and determine their net worth in terms of ore reserves. More recently, he functioned as the director for Latin America of The National Institute for World Trade and as a Consultant for the Mayor of Con Con, Chile to review the environmental impact of the use of LNG to power a 500MW generation plant for their local refinery. His investigation concluded that the use of the LNG being imported was a clean alternative to the current coal plant and that the conversion would contribute less to overall air pollution. He introduced a mitigation strategy to reduce spent water temperature, before returning it to the environment. His recommendation, to create a phased expansion based on the results of a measurement and verification study, were implemented, and the initial 77MW turbine is under construction. Through LEDOLAS, Mr. Cintron was the first to introduce UL certified, energy efficient Solid State Lighting technology in the Chilean market, manufactured by leading US companies holding US and Int’l patents. David provides LEDOLAS with global market and sales projections analysis on a continuous basis with an emphasis on South America, particularly related to the Pacific Alliance Trade Bloc, identifying and targeting potential trans-national distributors and retailers operating in such markets. |
José L. Rojas
José L Rojas Gutiérrez is the Regional Director for the Caribbean Region for LEDOLAS. Born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, he came to Boston with his father and siblings in 1969. Since that time Mr. Rojas has attained nearly 25 years of hands-on management experience in government, economic development, finance and politics. He was recognized in Boston, Massachusetts as a leading Hispanic public relations advisor, negotiator, mediator, community organizer, fundraiser and campaign coordinator. He has held numerous directorship positions: in non-profit organizations as well in Statewide agencies such as Medicaid, Co-Chair for Economic Development in the Governor’s Hispanic Advisory Commission, Founder and first President of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce in Massachusetts, Boston Medical Center, Public Affairs registered Lobbyist in Massachusetts, Puerto Rico Department of Natural Resources CFO and many others. He has been awarded over 5 times by the Massachusetts State Legislature and Governors, and the City of Boston for both his community organizing and political work for the betterment of the Hispanic populations. Mr. Rojas is very active in international trade between USA/Territories based firms and Latin America. He devised and executed the fundraising and marketing plans for a National Civil Rights organization as Treasurer, a position he has held in many non-profit organizations, seeking to stimulate economic growth and social development for certain low-income communities. He currently resides in Puerto Rico and works as a Private Financial Advisor. |
